National Target Program responses to climate change

Implementation of the resolution of the Government’s No 60/2007/NQ/CP, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is tasked to chair by Government, coordinates with other ministries and agencies are building “ National Target Program responses to climate change( National target Program) in order to submit to the government for consideration. The program is developed and implemented with some point of views after:

1) Response to climate change is the task of the entire political system, society, all levels, sectors, organizations, communities and people; response to climate change of national, regional,and global.

2) The important factor in ensuring the success of the policy response to climate change is having political commitment at the highest level in the national political system with financial resourses and the adequate human and the commitment to fully support of international community;

3) Climate change is becoming the problem of development. So, response to climate change has to conduct on the principle of sustainable development, intergrated, inter-sectoral, inter- regional.
