In order to celebrate the forthcoming State visit to Italy of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Embassy of Italy will organize two piano concerts which will be performed by Italian pianist Gabriele Carcano both in Hanoi and HCMC. These events are organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and Vietnam Performing Arts Centre and with the support of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and Italian company Ariston. Gabriele Carcano is among the youngest and most talented Italian pianists, and has performed with outstanding musicians in some of the most prestigious theatres including La Fenice in Venice. Having graduating with high honors from the Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi” in Turin, he is continuing his music studies in Paris. Considered by national and international critics one of the most promising talents of Italian music, Carcano already met a considerable success when he performed in Hanoi in March 2009. The programme of the concerts both in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will include musics by J.S.
