The United States Embassy’s new American Center which has just been opened to the public.

Located on the 1st floor of the Rose Garden Tower, 170 Ngoc Khanh Street, Hanoi, the American Center is a one-stop source of up-to-date information about all aspects of the United States, its people, and its policies.

The American Center staff, equipped with books, magazines, on-line databases, and other materials, can provide information about American people and culture, history and society, government and politics, economics and trade, foreign affairs and defense, literature and performing arts, and education and language. The American Center also offers information on issues of global concern, such as narcotics trafficking, protection of the environment, and terrorism.

The Center is currently open from 8:30-4:30, Monday-Friday and will stay open until 8:00 p.m. during the week and also open on Saturdays beginning next month. No membership is required for access to the center.
