The match was a disaster as we all know, but luckily, it proved two true things about English language and English people.
1. Money makes the world go round. The whole world did not go round after the match, but the offer of 4 Mercedes from a Russian billionaire did turn Croatian players round and round and kick the ball into the inviting net of the English Team.
2. As conservative as the British. If Mc Clarence (sorry if I wrongly type his name) had listened to Wenger to let Robinson and David play from the beginning, the world would not have "eyed" a clumpsier goal keeper, and a goal could have come earlier for the host team (unreal condition in the past). We, the British, NEVER listen you, the French!
Would this disaster be compared to the sinking of Titanic?
